Today was a much more relaxed day.
This morning, at around 8, I went to an in-office meeting with my mentor, where they went through all of the projects and figured out what needed to get done. Then, I just kind of went to work trying to find the average kWh/sqft in California. When I found out that data, I stacked it against the data from my mentor's house, and found that his kWh/sqft number was much higher than what I had found, which led me to believe that perhaps the data I found was wrong, so I am still on the hunt to potentially find more accurate data.
This Afternoon, we had an hour-long meeting down with a few other engineers and some owners of a lab facility to figure out some air problems. There was a lot going on, and I was able to take nearly 7 pages of notes, so that was a pretty good experience. Really, the whole day's just been really laid back as an intern. I am planning on having a powow with my mentor tomorrow so we can start to figure out where we want to head from where I am so I can keep a good schedule and have a cool display for the LINK exhibition.
